Is there a way to use HTML within the markdown for emails?

HTML does not work within the markdown editor. What are you trying to accomplish?
In this case I was trying to resize a manually inserted logo, but generally would just like a little more control over the display than markdown provides.
Not really on the same topic, but the ability to change the link in the website logo from kwes to the company would be nice too. Was trying to work around that by just inserting it within the email body.
